Order Processing

Order processing on DFM goes through strict quality control and the average processing time for orders is 3 to 4 business days. However, processing time varies by product, number of variable items in the order, and the stock status. In few cases, if your order includes popular items that are experiencing stock availability issues, the order can take between 5-10 business days to process.

Once processed, the order is transferred for handling and shipping processes. Note: For orders containing more than one item, the processing time will be based on the item with the longest processing time. Customers will be informed on each of the processes. It is important to realize that that order processing time must be added on to shipping times, to get the total delivery time for you to receive an order upon placing it. 

Total Delivery Time = Processing Time + Shipping Time

Again, please NOTE: For orders containing more than one item, the processing time will be based on the item with the longest processing time. Therefore, plan your shopping carefully and review the shipping times so that you receive your order at the exact time you wish for if you are shopping for a specific occasion or intending it as a gift. Shipping Processes

At DFM our goal is to offer our customers great value and services and to exceed your expectations. We offer a flat rate shipping on most products for the standard shipping time frame. However, additional shipping cost may apply if you need more expediated delivery. Depending on the sales on our downtown fashion mall, we offer free shipping on some items and or a total sale price of over $60 of group product orders. We are working hard to offer free shipping on all orders and that will be announced once finalized.

All packages shipped out will be via a traceable system. Once we receive the tracking number of a shipped item(s) from our shipping partner, we will notify the customer immediately via email. However, be aware that tracking numbers may take a few days to be updated online by our shipping partner. Therefore, please hold on for a few more days before contacting us if you are concerned about delivery time.

Please be aware that some countries may require additional fees paid Collect on Delivery (COD). For clarification, these COD fees are paid to the local carrier of your country and are not collected by DowntownFashionMall.com.

For enquiries on upgrading your order to express shipping, please send us an email from within your member account or by replying to the order confirmation email that is sent to you immediately after placing your order with us and we’ll respond to you with a quote and an invoice for online payment. Please note that shipping by the express method costs about USD$25-$75+ per order, depending on the country it is being shipped to. Please review the table below for Expedited Shipping Times. Please remember that once your order has been moved through the queue in processing/shipping we may not be able to accept requests for expedited shipping.

For orders from Argentina, Tax ID Number is required if a customer from Argentina indicates Expedited Shipping during the check-out by sending us notification. Please be sure provide your Tax ID in message to avoid any clearance problems and or delivery failures.

Order cancellations

We will not be able to cancel or change orders once it has begun to be processed. As a general rule of thumb, if you do not email us within 1-2 hours of placing an order, there is a high chance that we will not be able to cancel it. Nonetheless, do contact us directly from within your account or using the order confirmation email as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or change your order.

Orders Unable to be Delivered

All packages that are refused, unclaimed from the local post office, or undeliverable as addressed because you input the wrong name or address when you placed your order, will not be our responsibility. We reserve the right to charge a restocking and shipping fee of 30-50% of an item’s value if that happens. So please do remember to *check your address* carefully when you place an order.

Separate packages

If your received package seems to be missing any items, please do not worry! We do ship orders in multiple/separate packages every now and then, due to weight restrictions and also to facilitate faster shipping once an item is located in our warehouse. Simply drop us an email through the email address provided to you for order tracking or contact us directly from you member account and we will investigate to inform you of the status of your missing item.

Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped out and our database is updated with your online tracking number, we’ll send you an email with the shipment tracking information which you can use to track your package. If 6 business days has passed from the day of your purchase transaction completion and you still have not received this email from us, simply contact us either directly from your member account.
